THE GAME
The University of Utah women's basketball team is ready to host the California Golden Bears on Sunday, Feb. 16 for Utah's annual Power in Pink game. The game will tip off at 12 p.m. MT in the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
GAME PROMOTIONS
Utah will be bringing awareness to breast cancer on Sunday with its annual Power in Pink game with all fans that wear pink to the game receiving FREE admission! Utah announces its honorary starters and breast cancer survivors prior to the game with "Pink Strong" signs being handed out at the marketing tables inside the arena.
UTAH vs. THE PAC-12
The Utes are 119-166 all-time against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 for the 2011-12 season, Utah is 58-99 in conference play.
HOW TO TUNE IN
Utah's game against California will air on Pac-12 Mountain with Maylana Martin-Douglas and Krista Blunk on the call. Fans can also tune in on the radio on ESPN 700 and listen to play-by-play announcer Tyson Ewing and analyst Amanda Smith call the shots.
NEXT UP
Utah will host a pair of top-25 teams for its last home regular season games on Feb. 21 and Feb. 23. The Utes take on the #12 Arizona Wildcats on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. MT for their Huntsman Center 50th Anniversary game and their BLACK OUT game with the Utes' Feb. 23 game against #25 Arizona State at 12 p.m. MT being Senior Day.

• Utah has knocked down 201 three-pointers this season, ranking third in the Pac-12 and No. 20 in NCAA Division I women's basketball. Utah's 8.4 threes per game also ranks second in the league and No. 19 nationally.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite there being four lead changes in the first five minutes of the game, the Utes were unable to slow down the sharp shooting from the Stanford Cardinal on Friday night as they went on to knock down 15 three pointers on the way to a 97-64 win on the road. The Utes were within six in the second quarter, but the Cardinal go on to shoot a game-high 65-percent from the floor in the period to pull away. Kemery Martín led the Utes in scoring with 15 points, shooting 6-of-13 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the arc.
Lola Pendande added 12 points with
Daneesha Provo rounding out Utah's double-digit scorers with 11.
HOME AND AWAY
The Utes have two different leading scorers when playing on the road or at home.
•
Lola Pendande is averaging 11.2 points per game overall, but 13.3 points per game at home. Pendande has reached double-digits in 13th games this season with eight of those taking place in the Huntsman Center.
• Freshman
Brynna Maxwell is averaging 13.1 points per game overall, and 15.7 points per game on the road. Of the nine games that Maxwell has led or tied for the lead in points, seven were away from the Huntsman Center, including all four of her 20-point outings (vs. UTSA, 22 pts; at Colorado, 24 pts; at Cal, 27 pts; at Washington State, 22 pts).
MARTÍN FINDING HER RHYTHM
In the last six games, Kemery Martin went from averaging 3.4 points per game to 10.6 in the last six. She has led the Utes in scoring in three of the last six games, all against Top 10 opponents (#6 Stanford, #3 Oregon, #8 Stanford).
• She scored a career-high 15 points twice during the last six games. She shot 6-for-10 from the floor and 2-for-4 from the three against Oregon (1/30), also knocking down six made field goals against Stanford (2/14). She scored eight of her 15 points against the Cardinals on Feb. 14 in the first quarter, shooting a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor and 2-for-2 from the arc.
• Recorded 13 points against No. 6 Stanford on Jan. 26, shooting 5-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the arc.
• In the last six games, she has knocked down nine threes, shooting 50-percent from the arc through those games.
