UTAH: After transferring to Utah from Wyoming as a quarterback in 2014, he switched to safety in 2015.
2016–Played in 13 games on special teams while seeing time on defense against Southern Utah and San Jose State … eight tackles … three tackles in the Foster Farms Bowl against Indiana … two tackles against Oregon … fumble recovery against San Jose State.
2015– Played in 11 games on special teams and played safety in four games (Oregon, Arizona State, USC and BYU) … 10 total tackles … season-high four tackles against BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl.
2014–Unable to play in any regular-season games per NCAA transfer rules, he became eligible in time for the Las Vegas Bowl and made a surprise appearance on the first play of the game—participating in a trick play that resulted in a 36-yard Utah gain … his role in the trick play involved him catching a lateral from running back Devontae Booker and throwing a pass to quarterback Travis Wilson, who heaved it to receiver Kaelin Clay downfield … after lining up at receiver on the opening play, he later played at quarterback and on special teams in the win over Colorado State … rushed two times for five yards and was 0-1 passing vs. CSU … three tackles on special teams.
