Biography

UTAH: One-time walk-on developed into Utah’s starting center as a senior.
2016–Played in all 13 games (nine on the line) and started the last eight games at center … played six snaps as a substitute against San Jose State … 540 plays in eight regular-season games (stats were not kept for the bowl game) … third on the team with eight cuts … two cuts against UCLA … also played on special teams.  
2015–Appeared in 12 games, mostly on special teams … played 10 snaps on the offensive line against Oregon State.
2014–Appeared in all 13 games, mostly on special teams … played 74 regular-season snaps in three appearances on the offensive line … recorded these offensive line stats: Idaho State (20 plays, 1 cut), Fresno State (51 plays) and Oregon State (3 plays).
2013–Redshirt.
2012–Played in one game (Washington State) … played seven downs on the offensive line against WSU … lettered.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time all-conference … West Ranch HS (Calif.) team captain … four-year scholar-athlete … also a three-year letterman in track.
