2016–Honorable mention All-Pac-12 … played in 13 games with 10 starts … third on the team in tackles for loss (9.5) … 35 tackles (1.5 sacks), six pass breakups, two forced fumbles (tied for eighth in the Pac-12) and a safety … recorded Utah’s first safety in seven years against Arizona … also had a season-high five tackles (2.0 TFL) against Arizona … four tackles, a forced fumble and two pass breakups against Indiana in the Foster Farms Bowl … four tackles against BYU … three tackles and a forced fumble against USC … three tackles and two pass breakups vs. Oregon.

PRIOR TO UTAH: Originally signed with Utah out of Baldwin High School (Hawaii) in 2012, but instead went to Snow College, where he played in 2012 and 2013 … spent 2014 finishing academic coursework … Snow College team captain … 44 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss (3.5 sacks), a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in 2013 … 14 tackles, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup in nine games in 2012 … in high school, he was the 2010-11 Maui News Maui Interscholastic League Male Athlete of the Year and two-time MIL Defensive Player of the Year … three-time first-team All-MIL … led Baldwin to the 2011 state semifinal game ...
