PRIOR TO UTAH: Second-team all-conference offensive tackle for Orange Coast College in 2012 … as a senior in high school, he was the 2010 Orange Coast League Lineman of the Year and a Daily Pilot Dream Team selection … won 11 total letters in high school in football (3), basketball (4), track (3) and volleyball (1) … football and basketball team captain two years … averaged 12.1 points and 11.2 rebounds as a senior in 2010-11 … once had 21 rebounds in a game … scholar-athlete.
